Brookhaven Animal Shelter & Suffolk SPCA Seize 20 Dogs from Horrific Conditions

After receiving a call from neighbors who reported hearing barking and the strong smell of urine, the Brookhaven Animal Shelter, SCPD and the Suffolk SPCA investigated and found more than 20 dogs living in deplorable conditions in a backyard in Shirley. These 23 pitbulls are now being cared for at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. They are receiving emergency medical care. These dogs show signs of abuse and neglect and are severely emaciated.  The Help The Animals Fund needs your help to bring these dogs back to health and find them the loving, caring homes they have never known.  Please DONATE NOW to help save these dogs.
